NEET PG 2026 का latest update अब पूरी तरह clear है। Exam pattern में बदलाव किया गया है और questions का total number 200 से घटाकर 180 कर दिया गया है अब इसका सीधा असर आपकी preparation, speed और accuracy पर पड़ेगा, इसलिए aspirants को अपनी strategy अभी से update कर लेनी चाहिए।
NEET PG aspirants के लिए यह update काफी important है क्योंकि paper छोटा हुआ है, लेकिन competition और pressure पहले जैसा ही रहेगा। अब हर question पहले से ज्यादा valuable होगा, इसलिए smart revision और careful attempt strategy पहले से ज्यादा जरूरी हो गई है।
NEET PG 2026 में क्या बदला है?
सबसे बड़ा बदलाव exam के question count में किया गया है क्योकि अब NEET PG 2026 में 180 MCQs पूछे जाएंगे, जबकि पहले exam pattern में 200 questions होते थे जबकि Marking scheme में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया गया है।
हर correct answer पर 4 marks मिलेंगे और हर wrong answer पर 1 mark की negative marking होगी। Unanswered questions पर कोई negative marking नहीं होगी।

Revised Pattern
NEET PG 2026 का revised structure देखने में आसान लग सकता है, लेकिन इसका असर काफी बड़ा होगा। Questions कम होने का मतलब यह नहीं है कि exam आसान हो गया है, बल्कि अब accuracy और time management पहले से ज्यादा important हो गए हैं।
Exam computer-based mode में आयोजित होगा और single shift में conduct किया जाएगा। Exam का समय सुबह 9:00 AM से दोपहर 12:30 PM तक रहेगा, इसलिए पूरे focus के साथ paper attempt करना होगा।
Question Count कम होने का मतलब क्या है?
200 से 180 questions होने का मतलब केवल number कम नहीं हुआ है इसका असली मतलब यह है कि आपके पास scoring opportunities कम हो गई हैं, इसलिए हर question को सोच-समझकर attempt करना होगा।
अगर आपकी accuracy अच्छी है, तो यह बदलाव आपके लिए फायदेमंद साबित हो सकता है। लेकिन यदि आप random guessing पर ज्यादा निर्भर रहते हैं, तो negative marking का असर पहले से ज्यादा महसूस होगा।
Preparation पर असर
अब preparation का focus केवल syllabus पूरा करने पर नहीं होना चाहिए। High-yield topics, regular revision और mock test analysis पहले से ज्यादा important हो गया हैं और जो students पुराने pattern के हिसाब से तैयारी कर रहे थे, उन्हें अपनी attempt strategy बदलनी चाहिए।

Marking Scheme वही रहेगी
NBEMS ने marking scheme में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया है। हर correct answer के लिए 4 marks मिलेंगे, हर wrong answer पर 1 mark कटेगा और unanswered question पर कोई प्रभाव नहीं पड़ेगा।
यह बात समझना जरूरी है क्योंकि कई students question count कम होने को marking scheme में बदलाव समझ लेते हैं। जबकि वास्तविकता यह है कि सिर्फ paper का size कम हुआ है, scoring system बिल्कुल पहले जैसा ही है।

Exam Date और Timing
NEET PG 2026 का exam फिलहाल tentative schedule के अनुसार 30 August 2026 को आयोजित किया जाएगा। Exam single shift में होगा और timing सुबह 9:00 AM से 12:30 PM तक रहेगी। Final confirmation के लिए हमेशा official bulletin और official notice पर ही भरोसा करें। फिलहाल यही latest available update है।
Test City और Application Update
Application process में भी कुछ important बदलाव सामने आए हैं। Advisory updates के अनुसार test city selection की जगह test state selection और verification process से जुड़े कुछ नए बदलाव किए गए हैं।
इसका सीधा मतलब यह है कि registration करते समय केवल form भरना ही पर्याप्त नहीं होगा। Documents, details और biometric verification से जुड़ी सभी instructions को ध्यान से follow करना होगा।
अब Strategy कैसे बनाएं?
अब आपको अपनी preparation को पहले से ज्यादा smart और selective बनाना होगा। हर chapter को बराबर समय देने की बजाय अपने weak areas को improve करें और strong topics को और मजबूत बनाएं।
Mock tests को गंभीरता से दें क्योंकि वही बताएंगे कि real exam में आप कितने questions safely attempt कर सकते हैं। बिना सोचे-समझे over-attempt करना अब नुकसानदायक साबित हो सकता है।

इसके लिए Concept clarity पर काम करें, revision को नियमित रखें और time management की practice रोज करें यही तीन बातें 180-question paper में सबसे ज्यादा मदद करेंगी।
अगर आप हर mock test के बाद अपनी mistakes को note करके उन पर काम करते हैं, तो आपकी improvement काफी तेजी से होगी। यह तरीका थोड़ा boring लग सकता है, लेकिन सबसे ज्यादा result-oriented माना जाता है।
